Myrtle Wavez is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, established in 2024, to create amazing opportunities for individuals within the marching arts. The primary focus of Myrtle Wavez is to provide all individuals an opportunity to experience the drum & bugle corps activity. Many people have the desire to experience the thrill of drumcorps, but many cannot afford the extreme financial responsibilities nor time commitment devoted to a full summer tour.  Myrtle Wavez plans to compete in the 2025 Drumcorps International (DCI) SoundSport division and give its members a safe, educational, social, and elite performing experience they can cherish for a lifetime. Our primary goal is to serve our local grand strand community, work with local music educators while representing our state through the drumcorps performing activity. We want every person who dreams of marching in drumcorps to have a real chance to do so. Come ride the wave with us in 2025!
